We want our story to reflect our values and reasons for being, more than the journey it took to get here.

Most of you reading this are likely active scrub-wearers in hospitals, clinics, or elsewhere. If that's the case, you’ve also likely noticed that most scrub options, free and purchased, have their issues; They’re often unflattering, impractical for our everyday needs, or even shockingly expensive!

As doctors, we’re committed to making things better for our colleagues alike. We understand the demands and sacrifices of healthcare workers because we live them daily. Subsequently, we also know the firsthand challenges of finding scrubs that are both affordable and functional. During medical school and beyond, we often found ourselves frustrated by the cost and inaccessibility of quality scrubs. We believe that better scrubs shouldn’t be a luxury, only accessible to a few.

Our own families, both of immigrant backgrounds, have inspiring stories about relatives who made sacrifices to train and practice medicine in the UK, often in the face of financial difficulty and prejudice. Their sacrifice provided a stepping stone for us to pursue medicine and has encouraged us to want to give back to our community. Nimbs was born from our belief that you deserve quality products that celebrate the hard work you do. To us, it's also a small tribute to the efforts of our families and those with similar stories.

Our scrubs are designed to consider practical details: pockets for handover sheets, pens, bleeps and snacks - because we know what’s needed on the job. They’re built to keep you looking sharp, even when you’re running from patient to patient at all hours. Affordability is also essential to us, especially for students and those from widening participation backgrounds, where resources may be limited.

At Nimbs, we recognise that access to resources varies greatly across the world. We’re committed to supporting healthcare workers globally, including those in challenging conditions. Through our initiatives, we’ll contribute to medical communities worldwide as we grow.

We believe Nimbs is more than just a set of scrubs, it’s a movement toward accessibility, respect, and support for healthcare professionals.
